These were printed mostly 2 to a page and are difficult to divide, their being only a single line between each map. Consequently one margin on most of the maps is VERY TIGHT. Sizes vary but mainly have an engraved area of around 8x6.5 inches. Virtually all are enhanced by attractive small Title cartouches and Coats of Arms. The engravers include Thos BOWEN, Thos CONDOR and others.

to the Bahamas after a career in

the French Bishop & author, wrote that Geography is one of the
