BRIEF RESUME: A fascinating historical & political History, wherein the Author sets out to provide not just a record of events, but to portray them within the context of politics generally and other world events. Some 41 colored maps, mostly printed doubled sided, show clearly the boundary and other changes taking place, starting in 1474 and ending 1890. Many of the maps show the development of the Territories into States.

CONDITION: FAIR TO GOOD. PLEASE REFER TO SCANS PROVIDED. Contents are loose in places, but generally an acceptable item. Covers a little worn and scuffed, with small tear at top of spine. Slight water stains to top of some pages, which does not seriously detract.
