GORDON Pat. - GEOGRAPHY ANATOMIZ'D or THE GEOGRAPHICAL GRAMMAR. This page details the delightful miniature maps by Robert MORDEN from the 7th Edition printed in 1716. MALLET Allain Manesson (1630-1706). This famous French cartographer who produced DESCRIPTION DE L'UNIVERS in Paris in 1683. Some 700 delightful miniature maps, views and other engravings. There are a lavish number of illustrations available for you to view. Several show California as an island. Australia was still being discovered. A remarkable chef d'ouvre! Well worth a long browse !
