The Introduction states the objective of
the Book: 'This little book is intended to help farmers and villagers
conduct the poultry business with pleasure and profit'.
The scope of detail of the textual coverage can be see from the list of

Turkeys, Geese, Ducks and Pigeons.
There are 16 fine small coloured chromolithographs, depicting numerous
breeds. The artist was Louis P Graham of Philadelphia.
