Some Background information about the prints and the illustrators

The prints in this work are small and delicate. They depict principal buildings, towns and cities within the county of Kent, England.

Although they are of a small size, these images are not lacking in detail or appeal. The Stately homes are shown amongst their beautiful grounds and the general views of towns and cities include as many of the important structures as possible.

The artists have composed the most interesting of scenes within these miniature views depicting architecture, horses, dogs, people etc. with accuracy.
