The areas covered by Médoc are coloured yellow, Graves - green, Sauternes - pink, Côtes de Bordeaux - blue, Palus - uncoloured & Entre-deux-mers - brown. The chateaux and appellations are named in red text with an adjacent symbol: Grands vins rouges classés are indicated with a "1" inside a red circle. Grands vins blancs classés are indicated with a "2" inside a red triangle. Crus rouges are indicated with a red dot. Crus blancs are indicated with a red triangle. Crus blancs et rouges are indicated with a red teardrop symbol. Key towns shown include: La Réole, Saint-Macaire, Langon, Bazas, Grignols, Villandraut
