Neighbourhood names in red mark the grid squares, many still drawn as open fields, with the main employment areas shaded, roads under construction dashed and the boundary of the designated area hatched around the whole. Drawn by David L. Fryer \u0026amp; Co. on an Ordnance Survey base, the map candidly warns that some roads and projects may not be as advanced as shown.
