G.L.C. County Hall was then the seat of the Greater London Council and not yet a visitor attraction. The GLC was abolished in 1986 and the London Marriott Hotel County Hall opened in 1998, as the riverfront turned from municipal administration to hospitality. The sheet also names County Hall South Block and St Thomas' House, the students' memorial club of 1927, as well as the Riddell House swimming baths in the nurses' home of 1936–37. The St Thomas' Hospital redevelopment site is labelled as lacking available plans in March 1971, and the hospital's thirteen-storey North Wing followed in 1975. The plan was kept to assess property and fire risk, and it was amended with pasted overlays recording changed uses, altered layouts, demolition and new building. Here those overlays record the clearance and reorganisation of small streets and plots for the enlarged hospital, and the layouts of those streets and plots are preserved in the outline edition reissued in February 1959. The printed base heading is dated June 1889. The latest dated correction identified is March 1971, and the key plan acquired with the same group also records corrections to March 1971. In the sheet's day, Paris Street, Sudbury Street, Crozier Street, Mytton Row and Stangate Street lay between Lambeth Palace Road, New Lambeth Palace Road and Upper Marsh. These streets were demolished in the 1960s rebuilding, which also realigned Lambeth Palace Road. The sheet also draws the St Thomas' Hospital outline, St Thomas' House, the L.C.C. County Hall outline and County Hall South Block, together with the edge of Archbishop's Park, which opened in 1901. County Hall itself now houses hotels and attractions, and its South Block is now apartments. This outline edition, reissued in February 1959, gives footprints and plot divisions with less occupancy and risk detail than the coloured plans. Goad's plans were used to judge property and fire risk, and they were amended with pasted overlays as uses changed, layouts altered and buildings came down or went up. Later coloured revisions record the clearance of those streets for the hospital redevelopment, with a dated annotation in March 1971, and the key plan acquired with the same group records corrections to March 1971. The hall was bombed in 1942 and demolished in 1955, and its site now holds the Canterbury House flats. Nearby, the sheet shows the London Necropolis and Woking Cemetery Company premises, whose funeral trains ran to Brookwood until the Blitz of 1941, along with the London and South Western Railway, York Road Chapel and artisans' dwellings. The sheet is drawn in outline, with less occupancy and risk detail than the coloured plans, and it keeps the earlier commercial layout. Later coloured revisions show the theatre site as a car park, alongside an older sectional diagram. Risk plans of this kind were updated with pasted slips recording new uses, altered layouts, demolition and rebuilding. The printed base heading is dated June 1889, and no copyright date is visible. County Hall annexe offices had spread inland. They stood beside St Thomas' Hospital offices, railway stores and the Waterloo railway approaches. The island site between York Road and Westminster Bridge Road is still blank on this sheet. The County Hall Island Block rose there in the 1970s and emptied in 1986. It was demolished in 2006 and replaced in 2010 by the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge hotel, as civic offices yielded to visitors. The main Canterbury Music Hall site is shown as a car park, although the sheet keeps an older sectional diagram of the Canterbury Theatre of Varieties. The Canterbury House flats now stand on that site. Surveyors kept these risk plans working with pasted slips for changed uses, altered layouts, demolitions and new building.
