Plans record streets and houses swept away for Regent Street, New Oxford Street, Charing Cross Road, Shaftesbury Avenue, Kingsway and Aldwych, while later maps trace Blitz destruction and post-war reconstruction in the City, South Bank, Hoxton, Stepney, Bermondsey and Kilburn.
