Stamford House was demolished in 2003 and replaced by the fifty-storey One Blackfriars tower of 2018, while Christ Church, bombed out in 1941, was rebuilt in 1958–59. In the sheet's day, Bull Stairs Wharf, Hope Wharf, Fleet Wharf, Jamaica Wharf, Rennie's Upper Wharf, Blackfriars Wharf and Milroy Wharf lined the River Thames frontage. Pasted slips near the bridge and Stamford House show a few large buildings, while denser small-plot footprints survive on the sheet around Upper Ground and Boddy's Bridge. Outline editions served fire-risk assessment with footprints and plot divisions rather than occupancies, and they were kept current with pasted slips recording new uses, demolition and rebuilding. Later coloured revisions show riverfront clearance and a demolition proposal dated March 1971. The sheet bears a December 1925 reprint date, and no correction on it carries a date. Key plans acquired with the group were still being corrected in March 1971. Dorset House, built in 1931–33 for Iliffe's magazines, appears with the I.P.C. Business Press offices, warehouse and training school. Christchurch, which was rebuilt in 1958–59, still keeps its John Marshall Hall, and the riverside clearance sites on the River Thames became Sea Containers House in 1978. These plans were made to assess property and fire risk, and they were kept current with pasted slips recording new uses, altered layouts, demolition and rebuilding. The sheet bears a December 1925 reprint date and a 1950 copyright date, and the latest dated correction identified on it is March 1971.
