That trade left for Leyton in 1991, and the district became a shopping and dining destination, with Bishops Square following in 2005. Bishopsgate Institute, which opened in 1895, still runs its free library and archives. Sandys Row Synagogue, a Huguenot chapel of 1766 that has been in Jewish use since 1867, is London's oldest surviving Ashkenazi synagogue. By contrast, the Central Foundation School for Girls left Spital Square for Bow in 1975. The sheet also names St Botolph's Hall and the Provident Association of London Ltd building, which was under construction in August 1968. The sheet was kept up to date for fire-risk assessment with pasted slips recording new uses and rebuilding, and its latest annotations, of August 1968, include a vacancy note at 10 Artillery Lane. It was reissued in June 1932, with a 1950 copyright date, and it belongs to a group whose key plans were still being corrected in October 1970 and March 1971.
