Berann, probably printed around 1969–72. The sweeping view extends southwards from the Brenner Pass across Bolzano, Merano, Bressanone and Brunico to the Dolomites, with towns, roads, railways, mountain passes and numerous lifts embedded within Berann’s richly modelled Alpine landscape. The map records an important transitional moment in the development of South Tyrol’s ski resorts. It shows the Riscone–Plan de Corones cableway, opened in 1963, and the lower Drittelsand–Vigo Michele basket lift serving Speikboden, opened in 1964. The upper continuation from Vigo Michele to Speikboden, inaugurated for the 1973/74 season, is not yet present. At Solda, a dotted “Impianto in progetto” marks the proposed cableway towards the Eisseegrat–Schaubachhütte area: a scheme documented by 1966 but only realised in modified form in 1974–75. Together, these features suggest a late-1960s or very early-1970s cartographic state.

https://www.antiquemapsandprints.com/fr/products/dolomiti-dolomites-alto-adige-panoramic-mountain-birds-eye-view-berann-c1971-map-p-6-112338
