The Town Hall of 1866 lost its council when Hackney was formed in 1965. The Shoreditch Town Hall Trust took it on in 1997 and now runs it as an arts venue. Hoxton Square, which dates from 1683, held the White Cube gallery from 2000 to 2012 and is now home to bars and offices. The sheet also names the London County Council Technical School, a twine and paper warehouse, Albert Buildings, furniture factories, and Brown Bros Ltd's garage, repairs and stores building and club. It was amended for fire-risk assessment with pasted slips recording new uses and rebuilding. Its latest dated correction, of March 1970, marks an H.W. warehouse with concrete floors on Charlotte Road under construction. Reissued in July 1938, with a 1950 copyright date, the sheet belongs to a group whose key plans were still being corrected in October 1970 and March 1971.
