Lots 97–101 occupy St Mary’s Terrace, Park Place Villas and St Mary’s Mansions; Lot 102 lies beside Harrow Road and Paddington Green police station; Lots 103–114 run along St Philip’s Place. Beyond the parcels, the Ordnance Survey base preserves a vanished piece of cinematic London. The police station and Town Hall appear as they did in The Blue Lamp (1950), Basil Dearden’s Ealing police drama, filmed on location and opening with a view from the station across Harrow Road. St Mary’s Church, St David’s Welsh Church, the recreation ground, vicarage, school and surrounding terraces complete its civic landscape. The Westway, opened in 1970, and road rebuilding later demolished the station and transformed the junction, making the plan a snapshot of pre-motorway Paddington Green. Prepared for the Church Commissioners’ sale of 18–19 May 1955. Offered with original catalogue pp. 58–68, covering Lots 97–114.

https://www.antiquemapsandprints.com/fr/products/paddington-estate-sale-4-paddington-green-w2-st-philip-s-place-1955-old-map-p-7-028462
