Built in 1719, with later 18th-century additions. The house was known as West Farleigh Hall from the early 20th century until the 1990s. A residence on this site was held by the Brewer family from the mid-15th century until 1762. The present building is a two-storey brick house with a plain tile roof, its date confirmed by 1719 rainwater hoppers. In Harris’s engraved view the house appears closely similar in form but shown with three storeys rather than two.
