Five inset plans provide larger-scale coverage of Yaumati and Mong Kok, Tsim Shatsui, Hung Hum, Kowloon Tong and Yau Yat Chuen, and the layout of the new Kai Tak Airport. The airport runway projecting into Kowloon Bay, areas of reclamation and extensive new housing show how transport infrastructure and land development were reshaping the city.
