Tomaso or Tommaso Porcacchi (1530-1585) was an Italian scholar, whose works included "L'Isole Piu Famose del Mondo" (1572), a treatise on the World's islands, which included a set of maps engraved by Girolamo Porro, republished in a series of editions up to 1686.
