Drawn for Admiralty Chart 2613, it traces Channels 1 and 2, which minesweepers cleared ahead of the invasion convoys, buoy by buoy from their marker vessels to the assault area. BIGOT was the invasion's highest level of secrecy, reserved for those who needed to know where and when it would strike. The twelve-page Assembly and Staging Plan and Table, Serial 00010, also BIGOT, dated 15 May 1944 and amended by hand, choreographs how every ship and craft would load, assemble and sail. Among them is Lieutenant Carl M. Good Jr's subchaser, SC 1301, listed at Dartmouth; on D-Day she shepherded landing craft between the troopships and Utah Beach.
