This outline was reissued in January 1956, and it records streets, building footprints and plot divisions with less occupancy and risk detail than the coloured plans. It still shows the smaller plots around blocks 2342 and 2346, which later amendments to the coloured sheet record as cleared. The Edwards' Charity almshouses on Nicholson Street, on ground that has been held since 1752, were replaced in 1973 and are being rebuilt as sixty-four homes. The sheet also names Ponsonby Buildings, Holmwood Buildings, Nelson House, Burrell Street Works and the Southern Region Railway approaches. Goad's working plans were made to weigh property and fire risk, and they were amended with pasted overlays as uses changed and buildings were replaced. No later pasted corrections have been identified on this outline edition, and the key plan acquired with the group records corrections to March 1971.
