The Aerated Bread Company's canalside works ceased production in 1982, and Grimshaw's Sainsbury's took its place in 1988. In 2019 the store became the first purpose-built supermarket to be listed Grade II. Terry Farrell converted the Henlys motor depot, a 1930s garage, for TV-am, complete with egg-cups above Regent's Canal, and the station was on air from 1 February 1983. MTV bought the building in 1993, and Paramount holds it now. In the sheet's day, George Newnes publishing premises, butchery and cold stores filled out the trades. Bodley and Garner's St Michael's Church of 1881 still serves the parish, and the sheet marks Hawley Locks on the canal. Such plans were used to price fire risk and were kept current with pasted slips recording new uses, altered layouts, demolition and rebuilding. The latest dated correction identified on this sheet is a vacancy note at 7 Buck Street, dated February 1970. The sheet was resurveyed and reissued in December 1957, with a 1957 copyright date, and a key plan for South London, acquired with the same group, records corrections to March 1971.
