Initiated by SHAEF’s Psychological Warfare Division, with British and American involvement, it was designed to resemble a Wehrmacht military newspaper while combining accurate war reporting with demoralising “grey” propaganda. Published daily from April 1944 to May 1945, the paper reported the rapid advance of Allied and Soviet forces, German retreats and disruption on the home front. Copies were distributed by air by the U.S. Eighth Air Force’s Special Leaflet Squadron, based at Cheddington, Buckinghamshire. This example was acquired from the La Valette Underground Military Museum, Guernsey, and is understood to have been dropped over German-occupied Guernsey in 1944, making it an evocative Channel Islands occupation survival.

https://www.antiquemapsandprints.com/products/nachrichten-fur-die-truppe-137-allied-psyops-airdrop-newssheet-map-31-aug-1944-p-7-028344
