Saron, Gouda, Tulbagh and Wolseley lie among mountain ranges, with vineyards and co-operative symbols following the valley floor, and Saronsberg, now the name of one of the valley's leading estates, among the peaks. Vignettes show Louis Thibault's Drostdy and Onderstraat in the early nineteenth century, and another caption recalls van der Stel naming the valley the Land of Waveren in 1700. The arms of Ryk Tulbagh and a delicate border complete the design.
