The map proposes the construction of a rail link between Euston and Waterloo main line stations, running via Tottenham Court Road and Charing Cross. Charing Cross main line station was constructed a few years later, and an underground line along this route (known today as the Northern Line) was eventually opened in 1907.

CONDITION: Good; suitable for framing. There is a repaired tear (c40mm) on the left hand side, and the lower left hand side of the map has been repaired.
