The map proposes the construction of a rail link between Euston and Waterloo main line stations, running via Tottenham Court Road and Charing Cross. Charing Cross main line station was constructed a few years later, and an underground line along this route (known today as the Northern Line) was eventually opened in 1907.

CONDITION: Good; suitable for framing. There is a repaired tear (c40mm) on the left hand side, and the lower left hand side of the map has been repaired. Please check the scan for any blemishes prior to making your purchase.
