Showing the path of the eclipse and the penumbra or shadow across those parts of North America, Hispaniola, northern Africa, Europe and Asia in which this eclipse was visible. Diagrams indicate the maximum extent of the eclipse in certain cities around the world, indicating that Edinburgh was the best placed European city for observation - the eclipse being "nearly central".

CONDITION: Fair-to-Good: Repaired tear in right hand margin extending c. 7cm inside the border of the map, and two small repaired pinholes. The map has been partially rebacked behind the tear. Light spotting; The image shown may have been taken from a different example of this map than that which is offered for sale. Any flaws described in this statement may not be visible on the image but will be present on the map you receive. Please note any other blemishes on the scan prior to purchasing this picture. Items smaller than A4 size are usually packed in a stiffened, board-backed envelope. Larger items are rolled and packed in postal tubes. Returns
