TITLE/CONTENT OF MAP: 'United States & Texas, with all the railways & canals'

This scarce map shows the short-lived Republic of Texas, a sovereign nation in North America that existed for less than ten years between October 2, 1835 and February 19, 1846. The map does not reflect the Platte Purchase (1837) which transferred some land from unorganized territory to northwest Missouri, extending its northern border west to the Missouri River. It also shows the state of Arkansas, which had been admitted to the Union in 1836 as including the original western half of Arkansas Territory (now part of the modern state of Oklahoma), although this had been returned to unorganized territory in 1824. Little Rock is marked with it's earlier name "Arkopolis"

Packing

Items smaller than A4 size are usually packed in a stiffened, board-backed envelope. Larger items are rolled and packed in postal tubes. Large items which are too stiff to be rolled in wide-diameter tubes are mailed in all-board envelopes. In the unlikely event of damage in transit, please send the affected item or items back to us and we will provide a replacement or refund.

Returns

We accept returns for any reason if sent back to us within 14 days of receipt of your order.
