LORD'S CRICKET GROUND - This attractive small steel engraving appeared in SPORTING MAGAIZE in 1835. Overall size 8x5 inches. Steel engravings of cricket are not that common.

CRICKET - A GROUP OF CRACK GENTLEMEN PLAYERS The print measures 15.5 x 11 inches overall. It appeared in The GRAPHIC in 1871. Includes W G Grace, Thornton, Green, Walker, Cobden, Money and Fryer. Uncoloured as issued. [These prints can be hand coloured to order]

THE GREAT SCHOOLS OF ENGLAND - CHARTERHOUSE FROM THE GREEN This general view of the school, depicts a match in progress on the Green. It appeared in the ILLUSTRATED LONDON NEWS in 1862. Overall size 15.5 x 11 inches. Issued uncoloured. All the prints depicted here are genuine originals, they are NOT modern copies.

THE ENGLISH LADY CRICKETERS: MISS STANLEY BATTING Only a section of this large print is shown. It measures 22.5x16 inches overall. Drawn by Lucien Davis, it appeared in the ILN in 1890. Issued uncoloured.

LADY CRICKETERS: A GOOD CATCH Again by Lucien Davis, this also measures some 22.516 inches overall. Published in the ILN in 1889. Uncoloured.

CRICKET - Drawn by Duncan This smaller print is typical of the Half Page engravings available from the Illustrated London News Etc. The overall size is some 11x7.5 inches. It was printed in 1850. Uncoloured.

THE SURREY ELEVEN The 1861 Surrey Team, one of whom was called Julius Caesar ! Published in the Illustrated London News of that year, the overall size is some 15.5x11 inches. Uncoloured.
