Duvotenay, Thunot & Charles

Thunot Duvotenay (1796-1875) was a French cartographer & geographer. We stock atlas maps from his "Complement de L'Encyclopedie Moderne ou Dictionnaire Abrege des Sciences, des Lettres des Arts de l'Industrie, de l'Agriculture et du Commerce Atlas" (Paris, 1875-1879). He also published atlases of France, Switzerland & the United States. Charles Duvotenay (fl. 1830's) was a cartographer also active in Paris who published a fine set of maps of Switzerland and its cantons in "Atlas Géographique, Historique, Statistique et Itinéraire de la Suisse" (Paris 1837). We assume that Charles & Thunot were related, although we have been unable to verify this.
