Lee, Kerry

Kerry Lee (1902-1988) was a mid 20th century English pictorial map maker. He established his business Pictorial Maps Ltd. at Blandford Studios, Blandford Street, off Baker Street, London in the mid 1930s. He created a series of large decorative promotional poster maps of London, Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon, Cambridge and Edinburgh for the Travel Association of Great Britain and Northern Ireland of as part of a post-war campaign to encourage tourism to the UK. He is perhaps best known for his "London - Bastion of Liberty" poster map.
