Vuillemin, Alexandre

Alexandre Vuillemin (1812–1880) was a prominent 19th-century French cartographer renowned for his richly illustrated atlases. His maps are particularly noted for their decorative use of vignette views depicting cities, landmarks, and cultural scenes, blending geographic precision with artistic flair. Vuillemin published a wide range of atlases, many of which appeared in multiple editions and continued to be updated and reissued after his death.
