[Frank William Milligan. All-rounder. Yorkshire cricketer] YORKSHIRE has so many advantages in the number of its cricket centres, that it is always able to have a constant supply of promising Cricketers as the older players retire. At the present time there are several who only come into the Eleven at intervals quite worthy of a regular place, among them may be mentioned MR. F.W. MILLIGAN, who has done good service to the County on several occasions during the present summer, both as a bowler and batsman. Though he went to Eton he went abroad after a short stay there, so that his cricket has been learned since. He is a useful player and would not be out of place in any side, as he is a very straight fast bowler, a likely batsman with a great variety of strokes, as well as an excellent field. Photograph by W. H. Parkinson, Bradford (1895). Antique photographic book plate, 35.5 x 22.0cm, 14 x 8.75 inches
