This detailed and decorative pictorial map of Bath, created by British illustrator Leslie George Bullock (1895–1971), highlights the city's historical and architectural heritage, including landmarks like the King's Spring, Bath Abbey, and the Great Roman Baths. Adorned with coats of arms, literary quotations, and vignette illustrations, the map features lines from the poet Young: "This Ancient City, How wanton sits she amidst Nature's smiles! Nor from her highest turret has to view but golden landscapes and luxuriant scenes." Framed in a stonework design reflecting Bath's Georgian and Roman influences, the map was designed in 1941 though probably not printed until after World War Two. Historical notes for tourists on the verso. This uncommon attractive map exemplifies Bullock's mastery of 20th-century decorative cartography.

Packing
Items smaller than A4 size are usually packed in a stiffened, board-backed envelope. Larger items are rolled and packed in postal tubes. Large items which are too stiff to be rolled in wide-diameter tubes are mailed in all-board envelopes. In the unlikely event of damage in transit, please send the affected item or items back to us and we will provide a replacement or refund.

Returns
