Plan No. 1 — Lots 1–73 [Former Paddington Estate: Porchester Square, Gloucester Terrace, Bishop's Bridge Road, Porchester Terrace North & Orsett Terrace]
A large, vividly colour-coded plan of the most extensive group offered from the former Paddington Estate. Lots 1–73 fill Porchester Square and Gardens, Gloucester Terrace, Orsett Terrace, Porchester Terrace North and Bishop’s Bridge Road, with individual houses, mews, churches and commercial buildings plotted against an Ordnance Survey base. Porchester Hall, Holy Trinity Church, Queen’s Cinema and the emerging Hallfield estate provide unusually rich post-war urban context. The sale history is particularly revealing: an attached notice records that Lots 1–71 had been acquired by the London County Council and were withdrawn, leaving the plan as evidence of property transfer and redevelopment as well as an auction document. Prepared for the Church Commissioners’ May 1955 sale, it is offered with original catalogue pp. 5–46, including the corresponding descriptions and relevant photographs for Lots 1–73.
