[Richard [not Reginald] Cameron North Palairet. Batsman. Surrey Secretary. Somerset cricketer] Like his elder brother LIONEL, REGINALD PALAIRET'S record as a Cricketer takes Repton School, Oxford University, and Somersetshire as its three stages. A severe injury to his knee interfered to some extent with the early part of his cricket career at Oxford. Still even under this disadvantage he played consistently good cricket for the University during the last two years of his residence there. Last summer in particular, he was one of the mainstays of Oxford's batting. Plays in good style, and with a variety of strokes generally scores fast. An excellent field, even handicapped as he was while at the University. A good Association forward until his football was stopped by the accident mentioned
