Chaumas in 1871. Lithographed views of châteaux such as Giscours and Cos d'Estournel name their owners as well as showing the buildings, several reflecting the classification of 1855, and the plates reach beyond the Médoc into other Gironde districts. Hand-coloured maps distinguish the red- and white-wine areas, and a departmental sheet after Théodore Duvotenay gives the wider geography of the Gironde.
