Waterlow & Sons

Waterlow and Sons Limited was a major worldwide engraver and printer, predominantly of currency, postage stamps, stocks and bond certificates. It also printed maps for British government and public sector publications, notably the London Underground maps designed by Fred Stingemore. It was based in London, Watford and Dunstable. The company was founded as a family business in 1810. It was acquired in 1961 by De La Rue.
