The Saint-Tropez peninsula as Allied invasion planners saw it: a Top Secret–Bigot assault map for Operation Dragoon, the Provence landings of 15 August 1944. BIGOT was a secrecy classification above Top Secret: only those on the 'Bigot list', cleared to know an invasion's time and place, could see them. At 1:25,000 it covers the peninsula's western side, from Cavalaire Bay and Cap Lardier to Gassin and Ramatuelle, overprinted in red with German batteries, minefields and wire as of 20 July 1944, and the approaches to Alpha Red Beach, where the US 3rd Infantry Division landed. The verso, Panoramic Beach Sketch P-2, adds a beach panorama and an oblique view of the coast, including Pampelonne and Saint-Tropez itself. Published by AFHQ, 31 July 1944; folding sheet.

Packing
Items smaller than A4 size are usually packed in a stiffened, board-backed envelope. Larger items are rolled and packed in postal tubes. Large items which are too stiff to be rolled in wide-diameter tubes are mailed in all-board envelopes. In the unlikely event of damage in transit, please send the affected item or items back to us and we will provide a replacement or refund.

Returns
We accept returns for any reason if sent back to us within 14 days of receipt of your order.
