'Northern Ireland Town Plans 1:2,500 — Clady'
A Troubles-era British Army map of Clady, prepared by the Royal Engineers and printed in October 1975, during an era of repeated IRA attacks on police and troops. Clady Bridge and the River Finn boundary place the Tyrone–Donegal crossing at its centre. Crossed symbols identify ruins and habitable derelict buildings near the bridge approach and southern road: potential hiding places for gunmen, weapons or explosives. The distinction between roofless ruins and buildings still offering shelter, together with an archway symbol for covered passages, gives the legend its security significance. Revised from aerial photography, this military adaptation of Ordnance Survey mapping records streets, individual buildings and the disused railway at approximately 1:2,500. Yellow roads and a reference grid assist navigation around the clearly marked international boundary.
