[Francis Marlow. Batsman. Sussex cricketer] It was a fortunate incident in Sussex cricket which took MARLOW, then a youngster hardly out of his teens, to Brighton. Staffordshire, for which he had played with some success, could only have given him a small chance of attaining the position as a cricketer his merits justified. This opportunity his qualification for Sussex by residence provided, and in return he has for several years rendered excellent service to the County. To say that he has been one of the most reliable batsmen Sussex has had latterly is to do him scant justice. Going in first he has rarely failed to make a good score, and once, if not more, he has carried his bat through the innings. A sound batsman, he not only plays in neat style, but scores mostly from every kind of bowling and on all sorts of wickets, having excellent defence as well as good hitting powers. He is also a fair medium pace change bowler and a sure field

Large items which are too stiff to be rolled in wide-diameter tubes are mailed in all-board envelopes. Returns
We accept returns for any reason if sent back to us within 14 days of receipt of your order. If any of your items are not as described, we will provide a full refund including reasonable return postage costs upon safe return to us.
