'Jackson's Map of the Bramham Moor Hunt'
The map shows the range of the Bramham Moor Hunt in northern Yorkshire, roughly between the River Nidd to the north, the Ouse to the east and the Aire to the south, with Leeds to the south, York to the east and Knaresborough to the north. The places where the hounds meet are marked with red dots, while the adjacent meets are marked with blue dots. The Bramham Moor Hunt was founded in the 1740s by George Fox Lane, the son-in-law of Robert Benson, 1st Baron Bingley (1676–1731) who had built Bramham Park in the late 17th century. In 2002, the Bramham Moor Hunt merged with the Badsworth Hunt to become the Badsworth and Bramham Moor Hunt, which remains active in areas that the two separate hunts covered previously.
