Plan No. 3 — Lots 81–96 [Former Paddington Estate: Hereford Road]
A long-format colour auction plan mapping Lots 81-96 on Hereford Road, with Lots 81–88 backing onto Bridstow Place, between Westbourne Grove and Talbot Road. Each terraced property, garden and street number is plotted against an Ordnance Survey base. Kildare Terrace, St Stephen’s Church, Hereford Mansions, The Princess Royal public house and the Roxy Cinema enlarge the sheet into a vivid record of the neighbourhood’s buildings and social life. The heading adds a revealing sale instruction: the properties were to be offered first as one lot and, if unsold, in the numbered groups shown. Prepared for the Church Commissioners’ May 1955 disposal of the former Paddington Estate by Daniel Smith, Oakley & Garrard with Hunt & Steward. Offered with original catalogue pp. 49–56, containing the corresponding particulars for Lots 81–94 (only).
