Burley, David William

David William Burley (1901-1990) was a British artist whose oeuvre straddled painting and pictorial tourist maps, including "Inn-Signia of Whitbread Houses in East Kent" (1950), "The English Lakes - where beauty reigns supreme" (British Railways, 1956), and "Map of Ireland" (1955) for British Railways in cooperation with the Bord Failte Eireann (Irish Tourist Board)
