Corpus Christi is the Cambridge college founded in 1352 by the townspeople themselves, through the guilds of Corpus Christi and the Blessed Virgin Mary, and its medieval court sits beside the tower of St Bene't's church. John Le Keux's engravings of 1841 show the college, its quadrangle and its chapel. An etching of 1881 sets the buildings beside St Bene't's tower, and a print of 1907 returns to the court.
