Hurst Park was a racecourse beside the Hampton reach of the Thames at West Molesey, and since it closed in 1962 its maps are a record of a lost piece of sporting Surrey. Bayles's plan of 1903 shows the course itself, and district maps of 1933 and 1937 set it among Hampton, Hampton Hill, Hanworth and Marling Park, in the years when racing was still part of the life of West Molesey.
