The Pantiles at Tunbridge Wells, Jezreel's Tower at Gillingham and Delce Mill at Rochester are among the buildings and local scenes in Recording Britain, the books edited by Arnold Palmer and published by Oxford University Press in 1946–1949. They reproduced work from the wartime and post-war project to record Britain's changing appearance, and the prints here also include Hangleton Manor, Sompting church and a distant view of Canterbury. Artists named include Vincent Lines, Thomas Hennell, Charles Knight and Aubrey Waterfield, each with his own approach. These are printed reproductions, so the publication date is not the date of the original drawing.
