Walhalla, a gold-mining town in Gippsland, Victoria, was pictured in the late 1880s from the mine to the road that reached it. The Picturesque Atlas of Australasia showed the gold mine in 1888, and antique prints of 1890 give a general view of the town and the flour bag cutting on the road to it.
