Germany's wine districts, and the Palatinate in particular, are drawn with a calligrapher's precision in these maps by Sheila Waters for André Simon's wine writing. Waters, a British-born calligrapher and artist who lived from 1929 to 2022, also prepared maps for publishers. Published in 1963, the vintage maps include a wider sheet showing how Germany's named wine regions relate to one another and a closer treatment of the Pfalz.
