The Guildhall at Newcastle upon Tyne went by two names in the 1830s, and antique prints of 1830 and about 1833 caption it as the Guild-Hall or Exchange. Its interiors were also thought worth drawing in detail: an architectural plate of 1905 gives elevations of the marble fireplace and wall panelling in the Mayor's Chamber.
