Becker, Francis Paul

Francis Paul Becker (1807-1863) was an engraver of maps and heraldry. Maps from "Becker's Omnigraph Atlas of Modern Geography" (1843), are listed below when in stock. The title of this atlas references Becker's patented "Omnigraphy" process, whereby letters were punched rather than engraved into the plate. He engraved maps for Josiah Richardson's "Comprehensive atlas of modern geography" (c.1845), and "Fisher's county atlas of England and Wales" (1842-1845)
