John Pearson (J.P.) Sayer (fl. 1930–1950) was a British illustrator and pictorial cartographer best known for his whimsical and historically rich maps of London, created for Strand Magazine between 1946 and 1948. This "Survey of London" series covered areas such as the Strand, Westminster, Mayfair, and Piccadilly, blending cartographic detail with illustrations of landmarks, events, and notable figures. Sayer also designed travel posters for the Great Western Railway and illustrated promotional materials like the Motorist’s Rhyme Book for British Petroleum.
