Brodie, John Alexander

John Alexander Brodie (1858-1934) was an English civil engineer. He was especially known for his contribution to town planning in Liverpool, notably as one of the engineers who led the design of the Mersey Tunnel under the River Mersey. He served as Liverpool City Engineer and later as the president of the Institution of Civil Engineers between 1920 and 1921.
